Looking for employment is one of the most challenging jobs you will ever have. Finding the right fit is important, as your career will play a big role in contributing to the overall sense of satisfaction in your life. Whether you are looking for a summer job, part-time work during the school year, or permanent employment following graduation, the Engineering Employment Centre supports both students and alumni with free services to help simplify the job search process.
Attend a workshop to learn more about the art of the job search, how to build an effective resume, networking skills, or to learn more about what organizations are looking for when they conduct an interview.
Find out what it's like working for organizations in your field. Company recruiters and employees will on hand to present information and answer questions about topics including: company culture, projects, career path options, recruiting practices, qualifications for open positions, the hiring process, and expectations for new employees.
Outside of peak recruitment periods we offer appointments for students & alumni to meet with one of our Employment Coordinators for individual consultations. Topics covered in these sessions include: career planning advice, resume reviews, interview preparation, and more.
